Parenting is tough. We quickly learn that our time, energy and capacity to parent is limited.

We believe leveraging the following strategies will help us parent beyond our capacity:

Messages on Parenting

While you certainly have the biggest impact on your children, you can probably think back to adults other than your parents that influenced you in the right direction. Widening the circle means being intentional to leverage other relationships to disciple and influence your kids. The church is a great place for that to happen.

Sometimes knowing what to do in every moment can be difficult. Stop to think "WHO (not what) do I want my child to be 10, 20, 30, 40 years in the future.

Solomon, the wisest person ever, said that we need to guard our hearts because they are the wellspring of life. Everything flows from our hearts. As parents, it's easy to punish for behavior rather than discipline for the heart.

We are creatures of habit. Effective parenting creates daily, weekly and yearly rhythms to help our children grow as people and as disciples.

Children have an amazing ability to detect fake. In order to truly lead them to be godly, we have to be godly first
